Whether you are looking for some great new nursery product lines or some fabulous toy and gift ideas to enhance customer impulse purchases, then BPA Baby & Child 2009 is the ultimate one-stop-shop.Returning to London this year, the show, which takes place at ExCeL from 11-13th October, is a great opportunity for nursery retailers to view all of the latest products under one roof and do some valuable business networking at the same time.
With major brands highlighting new autumn and winter lines - to mention a few: Silver Cross, Britax, phil & teds, Dorel, Petite Star and Chicco - there will also be plenty of new names on the scene this year, keeping those retailers attending the show a step ahead of the competition and enabling them to offer customers newly launched, innovative solutions for all of their baby's needs.
Sponsored by Nursery Industry, exhibitors in the Launchpad are a prime example of this as every company is totally new to the UK market, guaranteeing that retailers at the show will be among the first in the UK to stock these products. This year will highlight an infant emergency first aid kit by My Vista, a black out solution to guarantee a good night's sleep from Lights Out and a snappy new nappy idea from Lollipop Children's Products which promises to grow with baby. With almost 30 companies in the Launchpad, retailers are advised to allow plenty of time to take everything in - and don't forget your order books!
Surveys carried out by the Baby Products Association after the 2007 and 2008 shows, highlighted that a vast amount of retailers attending BPA Baby & Child were specifically looking for toys, gifts and eco-friendly products due to customer demand. In direct response to this there will be some top quality toy brands this year including John Crane, Marbel, The Toy Workshop, GoGo Toys, Plan Toys and HABA.
While the ultimate reason for visiting BPA Baby & Child is undoubtedly to buy - the chance to meet suppliers face-to-face and network with like-minded colleagues should not be passed by. With several refreshment areas (including a media zone incorporating a range of trade and consumer baby and parenting titles to pick up free of charge), the show provides a perfect platform to meet all of your important industry contacts.
Also, with tough times for retailers, an extensive seminar programme will offer valuable tips and advice including sales facts and figures for the British nursery industry from American research company NPD; how understanding child development is good for business by Amanda Gummer of Fundamentals; and some amazing tips on how to get your website to the top of Google without spending a penny by Site Wizard.
All-in-all BPA Baby & Child 2009 has retailer requirements firmly wrapped up.
