Stokke® Goes from Strength to strength....
Despite the current economic challenges Stokke® has had an amazing 2009, with record sales right across our product portfolio. A major part of this success was delivered by developing our strong retail partnerships, and working closely with them to support and identify opportunities for growth. Of course our growth this year has also been driven by our exciting new product developments.

The Tripp Trapp® trend collection early in the year saw the colour range of our best selling product grow even further. Now offering twelve contemporary choices - and with that, something to fit seamlessly into any modern or traditional interior.

As consumer finances are limited, we are seeing parents make more informed choices about where to spend their money - and they are choosing multi function products that they know will last. When buying a Tripp Trapp® you are not buying just a highchair but a chair that will adapt and grow to offer an ergonomically correct place to sit, eat, study and play throughout your child's life and well into adulthood.

With a seven year warranty on all parts (the same as our Nursery range) Tripp Trapp® also makes the perfect chair for restaurants, cafes and commercial businesses. Jamie Oliver thought so when he decked out his pasta restaurants and many others have followed suit. We have now sold over 7million Tripp Trapp's worldwide, which makes Tripp Trapp® one of the world best loved High Chairs!

Beautiful new textiles, a stunning luxurious hooded towel, the eagerly awaited Stokke® Xplory® Cup Holder and a new slim line Stokke® CareTM complete this years new product offerings and we have some truly amazing new development just around the corner in 2010.

Tripp Trapp® may be our most famous product - and why shouldn't it be? It has had 37 years to build up a loyal following, but we are also seeing exceptional growth in Stokke® SleepiTM and Stokke® Xplory®.

SleepiTM, is a beautiful sleep system - that again parents are buying into due to the longevity of use and space efficient design. Suitable from birth to around five years as a bed it can then be transformed into a sofa or two chairs.

Our new bedding collections are all Oekotex class 1 certified and we have also teamed up with Natural Mat who are now offering an Organic Coco Mat mattress that they have made especially for Stokke®.

Stokke® Xplory® continues its phenomenal growth - any of you who were present at the Earls Court Baby Show will vouch for the fact that there were Xplory's everywhere! Xplory's and hundreds of our I Love Stokke® reusable shopping bags!

The bags are just a small part of our significant media investment this year - as we continue to raise consumer awareness through print, online and social media campaigns.

We know that a significant number of Stokke® customers (we like to call them Stokke® Lovers!) who understand the child centric nature of our products don't stop at just a Tripp Trapp® or just an Xplory®, they go wild and buy the whole collection! We have an amazing tribe of brand advocates who shout Stokke® for all to hear - this makes us really proud.

Of course we have reason to be proud, this year we have picked up more awards for Table Top, Tripp Trapp® and Xplory® and we have been once again shortlisted in this years Mother & Baby awards. Tripp Trapp® also has the honour of being featured in an exhibition called ‘Seating for Kids' that runs from February 2010 at the V&A.

We are working very closely with our retailers over the next few months, supporting their in-store initiatives and creating some great promotions and of course all of our activity is supported by our on going PR campaign.
