Tigex has won the coveted Kind + Jugend Innovation Award for its new Evolution Baby Bath with Removable Bath Ring in the baby care category. Key features include detachable arms so that it can be safely installed onto an adult bath; two ‘evolution' bathing spaces, each with a comfortable, anti-slip surface (one for newborn to 6 months, the other for older babies); and an innovative detachable bath ring.
For bathing a newborn, a special indentation provides a resting place for the parent's forearm so that a small baby can be comfortably supported in the lying down position. From 6 months the child can sit safely at the other end of the bath, supported by the removable bath ring, which can be clicked into place around them (so much easier than struggling to feed the child's legs into a conventional bath ring).
The judges at Kind + Jugend commented: "This baby bathtub grows with the child from infancy to around 18 months, while also reducing daily water consumption through the adjustable dividers. An important argument for this decision was the fact that the product can be safely installed onto a bathtub, and therefore also reduces physical strain on the parents."
