As the doors closed on BPA Baby & Child 2009 the general consensus from both exhibitors and visitors was that the move back to London was a good one. BPA Baby & Child offered a huge variety of products which was fantastic for retailers and many of the show's regular exhibitors reported their best show ever. As sponsors of the Launchpad, Nursery Industry talked with a number of new and established companies whose stories we bring you in our show review.
In other news, Peter White has resigned from his position as Chief Executive of the BPA and will leave at the end of October to take up a new position as CEO of a larger trade association.
Chairman of the BPA, Andrew Ratcliffe issued this statement on behalf of the organisation: "The resignation of Peter is a sad event for the BPA because under his leadership the Association has grown in both role and contribution to our industry - growth that will be important to maintain.
"I hope you will join me in thanking Peter for his contribution during his time at the BPA and wish him well in his new role."
