Rachel Jones, Totseat’s Inventor, features in this month’s Red magazine having been recognized as one of Britain’s most inspiring working women, winning the International Category in the Red Hot Women Awards. Judged by Sarah Brown and other senior business leaders, the award recognised Totseat’s development from the kitchen table to an international brand in less than five years. The excitement adds to a great year for Totseat which has seen 140% growth and winning Gift of the Year.
In 2004, Rachel launched Totseat, the washable, squashable fabric highchair, which fits chairs and babies of all shapes and sizes. Anchoring a baby in an adult chair, Totseat creates an alternative highchair when none is available. Pocket sized, comfortable and robust, Totseat is now recognized as the leading fabric highchair in the UK and Europe. The business has gone from strength to strength and the Totseat now sells in 29 countries.
Rachel collected her award at a glittering awards ceremony attended by celebrity guests and female business leaders, and is pictured here celebrating with Jools Oliver.
