Jackson Reece based in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland has won a Gold accolade, awarded by the UK’s leading parenting magazine Mother & Baby. Their Kinder by Nature soothing herbal wipes were voted 2009/10 Best Baby Wipe at a recent awards ceremony held at the Park Lane Hilton, London. Readers of the publication reported that they ‘loved the texture, scent and quality of these environmentally friendly wipes and felt they were excellent value for money.’
Northern Ireland Environment Minister Edwin Poots met recently with MD of Jackson Reece, Colin Cordner to congratulate him on the accolade. The Minister welcomed how the company has embraced sound environmental practices in creating this award winning product. He said, ‘It is clear that the environment is a very serious consideration for Jackson Reece. These wipes made in the UK have a low carbon footprint and are bio-degradable and compostable and able to degrade in twelve weeks in aerobic conditions. The packs are degradable and specially designed to keep wipes moist and fresh. This company has indeed set an environmental mark for its competitors to aspire too."
