Nothing potty about this design
Published:  08 February, 2010

With its patent pending 'pouring duct', the innovative new Pourty potty is designed to be comfortable for toddlers as well as more hygienic to use, as the waste is poured out through the duct, away from where the toddler sits or touches, and doesn't spill or dribble.

Unlike other potties, the handle is at the front, so it is easy to hold the Pourty while pouring the waste away through the duct at the back.

The Pourty was designed by a father, Jon Rathbone, who was so frustrated by the poor design of the potties he used when potty training his two older toddlers, that he set about designing the Pourty before launching and taking the first orders for it at last year’s BPA Baby and Child. As well as being more hygienic to use for both toddler and parent, the UK manufactured Pourty has a wide base for stability, a front splashguard, and comes in a choice of pink, blue or white moulded plastic.
