The awards, run in partnership with Mother & Baby magazine and special care baby charity Bliss, were established to celebrate the unsung heroes who have cared for sick and premature babies. Cuddledry, award winning creators of the Cuddledry baby apron towel, were thrilled to be able to sponsor the Amazing Dad award, as Bliss is a charity very close to its heart. Cuddledry already support Bliss through a special ‘kangaroo care’ edition of their famous baby towel, with £3 from each sale going directly to support the charity. As Nursery Industry went to press, the Big Heart Award ceremony was set to take place at the end of January. Both the winners and the people who nominated them were to attend the event at a top London Hotel, where they would be spoilt with a luxury afternoon tea.
