Now in its second year, the ToyTalk Awards are open for entry. The awards are run completly online, from the entry of products right up to a live online awards ceremony later in the year.
This year's live online ceremony will commence at 10am on Thursday, September 30th 2010, when entrants can log in throughout the morning and see award winners announced.
The ToyTalk Awards 2009 attracted a huge number of entries and awards were given out in 15 categories.
The judgement criteria includes value for money, play value, build quality, eco-friendliness, originality and long-term appeal. All testing is undertaken by children, their parents or carers and ToyTalk Editor, David Smith, who commented: "We were delighted with the response the inaugural ToyTalk Awards received last year and we're looking forward to welcoming some new companies onboard this time around. ToyTalk is nearing its fifth anniversary and is going from strength the strength."
