Andrew Lambeth and Chris Armstrong from Team Out'n'About will be taking part in the Twentyfour12 mountain bike endurance race on 24th/25th July 2010. They will be raising money in the name of Medecins Sans Frontieres, and Riverbank Children's Ward at Bedford Hospital.
Our four brave riders will ride in relay, day and night, for 24 hours over one of Europe's most challenging world cup mountain bike courses. Over the course the team will face rolling Devon hills, swirling forest single track and the occasional river crossing. Riders battle sleep exhaustion, fatigue and potential overdose on sticky energy gels whilst being cheered on by hundreds of supporters.
Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an independent international humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters or exclusion from health care in more than 60 countries.
Team Out'n'About would like to thank everyone who has generously donated so far, and would appreciate any support for this great cause. For details on how donate log on to: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/OutnAbout
