CONCORD TRANSFORMER T wins the GOLD Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany – among the top five of 9,000 entries
Published:  18 November, 2010

The CONCORD TRANSFORMER T has won the GOLD Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany – the highest official distinction in the field of design. The children’s car seat prevailed against stiff competition to emerge in the top five of the 9,000 products entered. In terms of design quality, this ranks the CONCORD TRANSFORMER T in the absolute premium class – right up there with such ambitious high-tech machines as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and other major prestigious brands.

To enter the competition, companies must first meet very strict criteria. Only products that have already been awarded a national or international design prize are nominated. Companies must also be nominated by the economic ministries and senators of the federal states or by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The GOLD Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is proof that the CONCORD TRANSFORMER T sets the style standard in its category.

The German Design Award is not the only distinction the CONCORD TRANSFORMER T has received. Its superb design quality has already been honoured by the Design Center Stuttgart with a silver Focus Open, the prize awarded by the state of Baden-Württemberg. Yet the innovative design of the CONCORD TRANSFORMER T simultaneously performs an important function: the compact, enclosed shell shape provides the child with perfect all-round protection in the event of a collision. The children’s car seat also achieved outstanding scores in this year’s Eurotest: it was test winner in group II/III at Stiftung Warentest with top marks in the comfort, handling and safety categories.

The many distinctions show that parents and children alike can be certain that the CONCORD TRANSFORMER T is an excellent choice in every respect.
