Harrogate sold out – with waiting list!
Published:  09 December, 2010

Despite recent doom and gloom about cutbacks and recession, the nursery industry looks set for another thriving year in 2011 according to Harrogate Nursery Fair, which reports that its annual trade show is now sold out in Halls A, B, C, M, Kings Suite and now Hall Q!

Widely regarded as the show to go to, the Fair’s four Halls A, B, C and M have been full to capacity for some time now and the very last stands have now gone in Hall Q; the largest number of exhibitors this Hall has ever seen. The organisers are expected to announce that a new Hall will be opening very soon.

Show Director, Robert Anslow, comments: “Historically, Harrogate Nursery Fair has always been the favoured UK nursery trade show with space selling itself, but the demand this year has been unprecedented. The halls are now fully booked with over 170 exhibitors.

“It appears that the trend to book nearer the time has caused major disappointment for a number of ‘would be’ exhibitors which hoped to have a presence at the show and we are now compiling a waiting list with the view to the possibility adding an additional hall. Of course the viability of this will depend on the level of demand.”

Another huge attraction for Harrogate this year is the prestigious BPA Baby and Nursery Trade Awards (BANTAs) with seven categories open to exhibitors including: Child Restraints, Wheeled Goods, Travel and Sleep, In Home & Safety, Playtime & Bathtime, Feeding & Sucking and Best Debut product. Winners will be announced during the Party and Awards Ceremony on the first night of the show. Deadline for entry is 1st March 2011 and more information about how to enter is on the website at www.nurseryfair.com

Companies who would like to be added to the waiting list to exhibit at Harrogate Nursery Fair should contact the team on 01902 880 906 or email: adrian@nurseryfair.com or simon@nurseryfair.com
