Rob Law, Magmatic MD and Trunki creator, was awarded an MBE for ‘Services to Business’ in the New Year’s Honours list. It was definitely the perfect end to an outstanding year for Magmatic, and hopefully a good omen for the year ahead. Law commented: “I am hugely humbled to be recognised in the New Year’s Honours list. 2010 was really a fantastic year for us: we launched five new products; struck a deal with one of the US’s biggest toy companies; picked up our 36th award – not to mention seeing 750,000 Trunki cases reaching 60+ countries around the globe. What a journey!”
