OXO Tot’s design-led collection of baby equipment has been a resounding success at the Junior Design Awards 2011, receiving the Best Feeding Product award for its training plate and a Highly Commended award for its fork & spoon set.
The Junior Design Awards recognize excellence in style and design in children’s fashion, lifestyle and interiors, travel, food, toys and books, with the winning products judged on design aesthetics, functionality, innovation, quality and value for money.
OXO Tot’s training plate and fork & spoon set dominated the feeding category in the awards, with the Sprout highchair also shortlisted in the Best Highchair and Best New to Market categories.
OXO’s UK Marketing Manager, Tracy Carroll, said: “To receive such high praise from the Junior Design Awards is extremely flattering. Our feeding and weaning equipment combines unrivaled design aesthetics with the ultimate in usability, making mealtimes more enjoyable for parents and children alike. Winning these awards reinforces just that and is a real result for our design team”
The OXO Tot collection has been designed to grow with a child through several different stages of development, and includes a range of feeding and weaning equipment as well as a highchair, cleaning and bathroom tools. The popular US brand also offers over 200 stylish, yet practical tools for the home under its Good Grips brand including kitchenware, organisational tools, bathroom and cleaning products.
