Simon Harrow promoted to Chief Operating Officer at kiddicare
FOLLOWING MORRISONS takeover
Published:  18 July, 2011

Kiddicare.com, the UK’s largest online nursery retailer, is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Harrow to Chief Operating Officer. The new role is designed to help the business deliver its objectives following the takeover by Morrisions in February this year.

In his new position, Harrow will report directly to Kiddicare’s CEO, Scott Weavers-Wright, and will be responsible for leading the execution of the company's short term strategic plan. In addition, Harrow will also work closely with Weavers-Wright to help to shape the long term vision of the business with Morrisons.

Scott Weavers-Wright, CEO at Kiddicare.com said: "We believe Simon will be a fundamental part of the future Kiddicare and Morrisions story and this new role is designed to recognise this. I am sure he will thrive in his new role.”

Harrow joined Kiddicare in 2004 as part of the team that managed the migration to IBM Websphere. He then re-joined the business last year, formally as Technology Officer, after spending two years in the advertising industry. He also managed Kiddicare's mobile offering and was the force behind their new ECRM system, a behavioural targeted email solution designed to promote relevant products to Kiddicare customers.
