Rainbow Designs has appointed a new National Account Manager for the north of the UK. The leading licensed character manufacturer has brought Joanne Airey on board to assist Zara Grindrod, Director of Sales, in this sector which has recently seen significant expansion.
Joanne, 36, is no stranger to the industry and her extensive experience includes Territory Sales Manager for Russ Berrie and for Depesche, and is now very much looking forward to her new role at Rainbow.
“I am delighted to have joined Rainbow Designs and to be working with such well established brands and beautiful products which people recognise, know and love,” said Joanne.
Rainbow is one of the country’s leading gift, toy and nursery companies and is the name behind The World of Beatrix Potter, Miffy, The Gruffalo, Wibbly Pig, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Paddington Bear, Spot, Stripy Horse and Elmer ranges.
“Working with national accounts is extremely rewarding and something I have always wanted to do. It’s great to be part of a company with such a strong heritage and I am extremely excited about growing the existing business and maximising every opportunity” added Joanne.
Zara Grindrod is delighted to welcome Joanne to the team. “Our national accounts could be not in better hands and Joanne will play an important role in Rainbow’s continued growth in this area.
“Her knowledge of the industry and enthusiasm for her new position means our national retailers will receive the exceptional service and high quality products Rainbow is known for,” said Zara.
