The Baby Show For Trade announces a new team
Published:  06 September, 2011

The Baby Show For Trade is looking forward to welcoming an audience of over 2,100 baby and nursery industry professionals, setting the industry's newest trade event on the road to achieving its goal of becoming the ultimate annual destination for baby and nursery trade buyers in the UK and beyond.

Clarion Events has taken the decision for The Baby Show for Trade to sit alongside The Baby Show, the ‘must attend’ event for mums to be and new mothers. In order to complete the integration into the Portfolio, the events will be headed up by one Show Director and a central Marketing team.

The new team consists of:

Ali Blackwell-Cook, Show Director, The Baby Show Portfolio. Ali came to Clarion Events from CIPD Exhibitions and has extensive worldwide experience in launching consumer events, driving revenue and creating bespoke sponsorship packages for multinational organisations in b2b conferences and exhibitions.

Joanne Marshall, Marketing Manager, The Baby Show Portfolio. Joanne has recently joined the team from UBM where she worked on the UK’s largest interiors event, Interiors, KBB London and KBB Birmingham. Her career has also included working on Pure, Premier Kids, Glee and Grand Designs Live.

Russell Hughes, Sales Manager, has been with Clarion Events for almost three years. Russell has previously managed sales on the UK's largest outdoor leisure show, The International Caravan & Motorhome Show and more recently The Baby Show for Trade. His career has also included working on Top Gear live, Destinations and the leading international gaming show ICE.

Clarion Events has an impressive track record of growing shows in many industry sectors including this one, something it is determined and confident of doing for The Baby Show for Trade. Its consumer Baby Show portfolio started with a modest event in 2002 and in 9 years has transformed into a portfolio of 4 annual events with a target total visitor number of 100,000 in 2011.

The team welcomes feedback on the event. If you have any thoughts on this years event be it successes or improvement areas for 2012 or if you want more information regarding exhibiting this year, please email russell.hughes@clarionevents.com and for any marketing enquiries please contactjoanne.marshall@clarionevents.com
