Jeff Ward MBA appointed European Commercial Director
Published:  22 September, 2011

Britax have appointed Jeff Ward into a new role as European Commercial Director to oversee the sales, marketing and customer service functions across the region.  He will be based at the European headquarters of Britax, located in Ulm, Germany.

Jeff Ward brings a wealth of experience in driving profitable sales growth and building brands in new markets to Britax’s European commercial team. He has held several global executive roles in the industrial and consumer durables sectors, with strong credentials in creating and leading new product development processes and launches.

Jeff Ward joined Britax earlier this year from his role as Managing Director and Chief Purchasing Officer at the leading painting tools and professional equipment manufacturer Storch-Ciret Group. During his time at Storch-Ciret, Jeff had full P&L responsibility for the international division and achieved solid growth with regional distributors and international retailers in flat or reducing markets.

Previous to Storch-Ciret, Jeff worked at Newell Rubbermaid for over nine years, working his way up through sales and marketing roles to become Vice President and General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Jeff led a team of over 70 sales, marketing, engineering, finance, manufacturing and supply chain directors and managers.

Ian Watson, European Managing Director at Britax, comments “Jeff is a high energy leader with significant experience in driving sales growth, having delivered a number of success stories in turning around businesses despite severe industry downturn. We were particularly impressed by the breadth of his experience across several marketing and executive roles across a number of markets. We look forward to welcoming Jeff to our strong European commercial team.”
