Being a full time mum whilst running your own business is no mean feat, yet Emily Goodall from BundleBean Ltd has done it so well that her success has been recognised at the 2011 Mumpreneur Conference and Awards sponsored by Yell and DHL Express.
BundleBean was chosen by a panel of independent judges that included Dragons Den star Duncan Bannantyne, as the Bronze winner of the Best Mumpreneur Product Award. The award, sponsored by NatWest, was presented on Sunday 25th September at the Heart of England Conference Centre, Warwickshire. After receiving the award Emily Goodall said:
“It goes without saying that I am absolutely delighted that BundleBean has been given this award, especially as it only launched three months ago! BundleBean is a result of a great deal of hard work, careful planning and endless adjustments to make it the very best it could be and we are hugely proud of the result. To hear stories of how BundleBean is helping to make parents’ lives easier and to win an award like this so soon after launching, really is the icing on the cake.”
Andrew Cameron-Smith of Natwest said "We are a big supporter of women in business and fully endorse the ethos of these awards. We have been very impressed with the shortlist of candidates for the award, and feel heartened by the level of entrepreneurial spirit that is demonstrated by the finalists in all the categories in these awards.”
The Mumpreneur UK Awards attracted over 720 entries this year, making it a hotly contested prize. Mumpreneur UK celebrates the achievements of working mothers who have demonstrated exceptional business and entrepreneurial success whilst raising a family.
