Little Tikes is celebrating after scooping several awards in the third annual ToyTalk Awards and also this year’s Practical Parenting and Pregnancy Awards!
The company’s new Turtle Sandbox was awarded the accolade of ‘Best Outdoor Toy’ in the ToyTalk Awards, plus it took the Silver Award in Practical Parenting and Pregnancy’s £20- £40 Toddler Toy category. Little Tikes is delighted that the redesign of one of its classic toys has been a success, having beaten off stiff competition to take both awards. The Turtle Sandbox retains its friendly moulded face and large sand play area but now includes a rim incorporating a ‘lazy river’ with a spinner that creates currents in the water, doubling its fun by adding water play to the. A selection of mini sea creatures is also included so kids can send them swimming round the river on imaginative sea and sand adventures.
Little Tikes also received two Highly Commended Awards from ToyTalk – one for its 2-in-1 Play ‘n Scoot Pirate Ship in the Best Ride-On category and the other for the Grab ‘n Go Golf Set in the Best Pre-School Toy. While in the Practical Parenting and Pregnancy Awards, the 2-in-1 Garden Cart was awarded a well-deserved Finalist position in the highly contested New Product over £20 award category.
The company will certainly be shouting about its achievements in these awards as they represent a true endorsement of Little Tikes’ continual strive to produce imaginative, high quality and value for money toys that encourage fun, active play.
