New BabyBjörn / DaddyNatal partnership
Published:  21 October, 2011

BabyBjörn is pleased to announce its new partnership with antenatal specialists, DaddyNatal.

DaddyNatal is the only dad-centred antenatal and postnatal education provider in the UK offering positive support, information and role models as men go through the transition of becoming a father. All classes and information has been specifically tailored to dads and their needs.

Both BabyBjörn and DaddyNatal recognise the importance of both parents bonding with their babies. Award winning BabyBjörn baby carriers enable dads to soothe and keep their baby close. DaddyNatal antenatal, pre-birth, and New Dads classes, teach dads the essential skills they need with regards to their role in labour, life with a newborn as well as practical techniques from changing a nappy to swaddling as well as providing them with the opportunity to meet and talk to other dads.

BabyBjörn has long held the opinion that dads and mums are equally important when it comes to newborn support, as Björn Jakobson, founder and managing director of BabyBjörn said: “I realised that a BabyBjörn baby carrier would make it easier for fathers to forge emotional bonds with their child at an early stage in the child’s life. This was in the early 1970s, when it was almost inconceivable for a man to carry his child in a baby carrier. Our focus on dads has never changed and BabyBjörn continues to develop carriers that appeal to both parents. Now dads all over the world can enjoy having their baby safe and close to their heart."
