‘Rattles to Riches’ makes its selection at The Baby Show for Trade
Published:  26 October, 2011

Launched in 2010, ‘Rattles to Riches’ is already a favourite feature at the Baby Show for Trade. This year’s event once again drew the crowds to watch as, on each of the three days of the show, entrepreneurs with an idea for the Next Big Thing in nursery products pitched to a panel of the UK’s top nursery trade buyers.

From the dozens of applications received, fourteen products were selected. On each day of the show, one entrant was awarded a prize of a free 6sqm stand at the Baby Show for Trade 2012. However, having got through a rigorous pre-selection process, each of the entrepreneurs could be considered to be winners: look out for these products in the future!

Sunday October 16: Winner: Adam Murphy with the Shnuggle Moses Basket. Other finalists: Donna Kay, Flip Foot Babygro; Louise Guinda, Safebreathe Hoppy & Patch; Charlotte Jamme, Mia Tui changing bags.

Monday October 17: Winner: Philippa le Boutillier with the Spilly Spoon. Other finalists: Anna Dickson, My SHolder Kit; Lorna Taylor, Posture Pad Junior; Sheena Woods, MaByland MATchel; Nick Heaton, Monkey Swimmers.

Tuesday October 18: Winner: Joanne Forsyth with the Safety Dome CovaMe. Other finalists: Steve Catterall and Matthew Driver, Stairsafe Non-Trip Easy Fit Stair Gate; Alison North and Elizabeth Knowles, Buggy Slip-A; Di Mayze, Tug Trio; Amy Lovegrove, Baby Massage Kit.
