Tickets for the Toy Industry Awards 2011 are selling fast with the event on target for another sell out. 375 toy executives are expected to fill the room and many manufacturers and retailers have already booked their tickets.
The 2011 Toy Industry Awards, which were established in 1965, return to the popular Banqueting House, Whitehall on Tuesday 24 January 2012. Toy Fair exhibitor Innovation First has thrown its full support behind the event as headline sponsor, which includes the table centre design and branding in both the drinks reception and on the main awards presentation screens.
A combination of the Toy Retailer of the Year and Toy of the Year awards will be presented during the evening by BTHA Chairman Christine Nicholls and TRA Chairman Alan Simpson.
The BTHA is continuing to receive entries for the Toy Retailer of the Year awards following their launch in late September. Judging will take place in December and the shortlist in each category will be announced shortly before Christmas.
The annual Toy Trust media auction, which will conclude at the awards evening, is now live at http://btha.co.uk with final bids being accepted on the night. To place a bid on the auction or to book your ticket at this year’s Toy Industry Awards, please contact Matt Jones at the BTHA – matt@btha.co.uk – 020 7701 7127.
