SnoozeShade, the world’s first range of breathable blackout blinds and baby sleep aids, is delighted to announce that it has been chosen as a finalist in three categories for the Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Awards 2012/13.
The shortlisted categories are: Pushchair/Buggy Accessory - SnoozeShade Plus, Travel Item Under £20 - SnoozeShade Original (both judged by a panel of mums) and New Product to Market Over £40 - SnoozeShade for Travel Cots (judged by an expert panel including editors, writers and reviewers).
Trusted and respected by parents and parents-to-be, Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Magazine celebrates 25 years this year. Its readers know that the recipients of these awards, started in 2006 and which, this year, had 750 entrants across 67 categories, offer exceptional performance and value for money.
SnoozeShade products have been recognised for making parents’ lives easier in the key areas of sleep, travel and sun protection, as well as for their versatility and great value for money.
Designed by a British mum who became fed up with hanging blankets over the buggy to help her young daughter nap when they were out and about, the one-size-fits-all SnoozeShade range lets babies sleep undisturbed wherever they are and, with the highest level of sun protection throughout (UPF50+), the sun’s harmful UV rays cannot damage a baby’s delicate skin and eyes.
Since it was launched in 2010, SnoozeShade has become an everyday essential for parents worldwide who want to make sure that their babies can get the sleep they need whenever - and wherever - they need it.
With seven different versions to choose from and prices starting from £17.99, SnoozeShade is available from major and independent retailers in the UK and worldwide.
Cara Sayer, SnoozeShade’s inventor, says, "I am thrilled that we have been shortlisted in these important and highly respected awards. As a mum myself, I know how important it is to be sure that what we buying for our children is the best on the market and good value for money."
The winners of the Awards will be announced in September and will be published in the special February 2013 issue of Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Magazine.
